Always been a country girl:-) Always thinking about what to create next. I remember a little red crank sewing machine that my Mom got me and the fun it was sewing up a storm. And the big ole' treadle sewer, that sat in front of the window facing a garden, in my Grandma’s kitchen, always caught my eye. That’s the legacy that we inherit like a special predestinated gift passed down along with other blessings.
I’ve worked in about all the craft medias you can think of like painting, stenciling, jewelry making, calligraphy, stained glass, dried arrangements, and primitive doll making, happens to be my favorite. Always dreamed of opening a shop, putting things away for preparation. A little of art major at U of A, Theta Phi Alpha, Family, career in Banking, and I finally landed where I needed to be. And called it, My Country Heart, because that is what the dream was all about. I love to see happiness in other’s if they like my work.
After months of preparation from family and friends, we have an awesome turn of the century farmhouse shop, located right across from a lovely white gazabo, on Historic Copley Circle, in Copley Township 3564 Copley Road, Copley, Ohio 44321, Route 162. We have 8 decorated rooms and located right next to the Copley Antique Mall, which is the old town hall, Circa 1809. There is lots to see in this area on our big corner.
